Aging
This page will be about getting older, one of the more difficult things I've had to face in life. It's not for the weak.
28 MAY 2026 - Exercise
Easily the thing that makes aging a little better is working out, doing exercises. If I'm consistent with this then the stiffness from sitting too long is better, I don't tire as easily, and everything feels better. Not better as in getting younger, but better than if I don't exercise. This little fact alone is a big motivator for doing workouts.
And by workouts I don't mean killing yourself doing hours of exercise. Just a little helps, even if it's 10-20 minutes. That may not sound like much, but I find it's way better than nothing and also keeps the mental chain going. If I workout today, I'm more likely to do it tomorrow. If I don't workout today, then it's that much easier to blow off the next day, and the next, and so on until everything starts feeling old again.
Do your workouts, and everything else sort of falls in place.
21 MAY 2026 - No Control
You can do all the right things, eat well, exercise, and do all those "one simple trick" tips, and still fall to an unsuspecting malady. Disease, accidents, or most commonly our own simple foolishness can be around the next corner. It doesn't seem fair, but then who am I to argue with the Creator.
Then I've heard arguments that longevity is primarily related to genetics. So if you have the right genes (hey there Sydney) then you might last a little longer.
